A little
about me

I’m a US Navy Veteran and telecommunications engineering professional with 25+ years of experience making networks work. I started as a Navy Electronics Technician maintaining radar and communications systems, then spent 18 years at Sprint progressing from ATM/Frame Relay engineering to Technology Architect III — managing a $40M+ capital budget and leading cross-functional teams along the way. As a Solutions Architect at Ericsson, I architected small cell deployments and optimized VoIP infrastructure for Sprint. After the Sprint-T-Mobile merger, I helped bridge the two organizations and created an executive operations forum that became the primary way network leadership tracked operational health. I also designed Power BI and Tableau dashboards — I organized and translated raw network data into executive-ready insights, working alongside coders who handled the technical setup but relied on me to make the data tell the right story. I’ve since built a second career as a licensed Medicare agent in 38 states — adding consultative selling and CMS compliance expertise. I’m personable, self-starting, and always learning new technologies.

Outside of work, I’m an AI and home automation enthusiast — I dabble in Linux, terminal scripting, Obsidian for knowledge management, and SQL for data exploration. I stay active on tech trends (AI/LLM, generative AI) and enjoy building things with my hands, whether it’s a network topology or a home lab setup.
